The Hunters Point Parks Conservancy opens the Queens Landing Boathouse and Environmental Education Center on Thursday, October 29, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. Expect the fish tanks, the macroscope and a craft, with a look at the ecology and wildlife of Newtown Creek.
Admission is free; RSVP on Eventbrite. The center is at 57-28 2nd St, Unit 105.
